COVID Diaries - A note to my future self

Dear future self: anyone who says "it used to be like this when I was a kid" is full of shit. This is the most snow recorded this early in the season. This is the second highest snow fall in October, ever.  Bested only by the Halloween Blizzard or legend.

We had 7-8" of the white stuff today.  On October 20. What the....

I woke up early and got my run in before the snow.  I had to run a work related errand, and because I'm a bone head I had to run a second work related errand as well. (Could've been more efficient there.  Sigh.)  It was trying to snow when I was running.

When I got home, I just sat down, worked, and watched the stuff pile up.  This needs photos, not a hand written diary entry.  Photos are in time stamp order here.  For these, the best indicator is the snow accumulating on the orange bucket.

Running conditions in January

Warmest Run: Several were at 32*.  This has been a mild January.  It's a welcome reprieve from the last couple of years, though the warm weather comes with some side effects.
Coldest Run: One of my early morning miles was 10*
Favorite Run: I think today.  I ran around the marsh and I could've just kept going and going.
Worst conditions outside: That would be the day we had snow overnight and the trail wasn't cleared yet when I had to run my mile. Based on my shoes, I'm going with January 14.
Other: Y'all, it's the cloudiest January on record. I haven't seen the sun in 10 days.

Running Conditions in December

Warmest Run: It was really warm in Cincinnati for Christmas.  I had several runs in shorts.  (Not pictured.)
Coldest Run: There were some negative numbers in the temps, but mostly I was inside on those days.  I think 10* was the coldest outside run.
Favorite Run: I did a few runs with Dad in Cincinnati.
Worst conditions outside: There was some ice and some snow.  The ice issues right around the school by me, but nothing unmanageable.
Other: First yak trax run of the year.  There are a lot more of those over here than I remember at the old place.  Perhaps it's because I'm not as bold about running up the middle of the street as I was over there?

Running Conditions in June

Warmest Run: Yesterday (at Baker Park Reserve) felt the warmest, because I was out the longest and the black flies tried to kill me.
Coldest Run: I did one run in the rain.
Favorite Run: Baker Park Reserve on June 29.
Worst conditions outside: Baker was pretty freaking hot.
Other: I am surprised by the number of days with no pictures this month.
