Here's what I've been looking at while I've been so sore I can't move.
- Why do we give federal student aid to for-profit schools? Are for-profit schools even allowed in Minnesota? I know we don't allow for-profit health insurance.
- The Taste of Minnesota organizers owe both the City of St Paul and the St Paul Police Department some serious cash, and they're late on the payments. That's what you get for charging people $30 to walk in the gates and pay even more for overpriced fried food.
- This global refugee crisis is relevant becuase Minnesota is home to a significant number of Somali refugees in the United States.
- Birth control pills induce changes in the female brain. Every article I've read about birth control basically said that physicians were always surprised what women would put up with to be in charge of their own systems.
- I saw one of the St Paul girls who said she was really tired after the marathon (like several days after) and it's probably because we all need to rebuild some muscle. In all fairness, I went to bed at 8:55pm last night.
- I would've written a description like that too. Hee hee.
In my defense, while technically being on the pill puts me in control, it also keeps me from getting pregnant (huge, massively important side effect). Oh, and more importantly, my system is broken, so it really shouldn't be in charge. :)
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to read that article to find out how my brain has been messed up by being on birth control for the last seven years.
