Thursday LINKFEST

• What is it with me telling people I'm a runner and them saying, "oh, that'll kill your knees".  No, it won't.  But thanks for your concern, and way to stay positive and encouraging.
• I detest Wal-Mart marginally less than before I read this.  I bet my farmer's market is still cheaper.  (Not quite sure what I'm going to do in the winter though.)
• Aside from how sad and ridiculous this story is, Why did a Kroger security guard have a gun?  (Kroger is a grocery store like Publix, Rainbow, Cub, etc.)
• Great explanation of the recession and what it'll take to pull us out of it.
• For my caving friends, 10 animals without eyes.  I have seen three of these animals in real life.  Mercifully, I've missed the wolf spider up to this point.
• For my running friends, women have to get hotter before they start sweating.  No wonder marathon training in the heat was so awful this summer.
• No disrespect to my teacher friends, but this is how I felt about high school too. from here 10/14/10.
