- It's Time to GO PINK for October! (If you're reading this as a 'note' on Facebook, head on over to my blog to see the color change. It's quite dramatic.)
- There's more obesity where there's more hunger. It doesn't make sense except it does. Just think about all the crappy, corn syrup packed, empty calorie food you can buy for a dollar and then think about how much a carton of eggs costs.
- Cincinnati is the home of Proctor and Gamble (P&G) and I've had a love/hate relationship with them most of my life. So I'm thrilled they have a plan to go green. I think that'll do good things for Cincinnati and some of the other areas around there.
- Shocker: A higher percentage of Rwandans have access to HIV care than Russians. Go Rwanda I say.
- Bike Friendly Cities - I already know how great Minneapolis is. Explain to me how it can be the most bike friendly city in the US but not even make it on the 'cities in the world' list.
- I heart Patrick Stewart. C is for
cookiescarrotscrunches! - Waiting For Superman, I haven't seen it yet but I have so many friends who are teachers I thought I'd mention it. Also, one of the people who appears in the movie, Geoffrey Canada is quite an impressive individual.
- These shirts made me laugh, or really the sayings on them. The shirts aren't that interesting.
