I didn't know I could get any slower

I ran 5.6 miles today in lets say 70-80 minutes. I went slower than I do on my usual neighborhood run which means I do have a pace slower than the 12:30 mile I usually run because I wasn't sure how long my new route was going to be. Turns out, not as long as I thought. This morning I got up (late, but how is that different from any other day?) and ran down to Minnehaha Parkway and around Lake Nokomis. It was raining almost the whole time I was running but I did manage to get back home before the thunder started.
