- Oh, to be a female boss in our culture, everyone makes it sound awesome.
- Student debt vs. average income per state.
- 10 HTML codes I should learn. The definition list looks like it could be helpful for LINKFEST days, maybe. I'll have to see if I can make it work.
- Monolingual: How many languages do I want my Mac to speak? The thing is, sometimes it's nice to have the language packs installed when I wind up on odd web pages. (Sometimes one of my RSS feeds pulls pages from Russia or Japan. It's nice to see the language instead of a bunch of boxes and stars.)
- Rent or buy your home? Depends where you live. I'm surprised the average rents in Minneapolis are so high, but it is true that my mortgage+mortgage insurance+association dues is still less than rent would be for a comparable place.
- Just... YES!
- Farm laborers invite the unemployed (and basically the whole state of Arizona) to put your money where your mouth is and pick the food we eat everyday. I love that Steven Colbert is involved in this.
- This is for my friend Sarah, A solution to Shiny Object Syndrome!.
- This is for Amanda, Amy, Alyssa, and everyone else who was at the party last night, possibly the coolest mouse trap ever and one that is less likely to scar you for life.
- My pooky bear and I had birthdays this week. (Someday, someone who wasn't around for the original pooky bear incident and take that nickname in a whole different direction). And then I found a website with the coolest things ever. Some things I found that I liked included the staple free stapler because I like saving resources (no, you should see how much I staple); and many fun things in this section. I've got Thinkgeek in my RSS feed now so I'll see all their new stuff. I'll keep it mind for several of your birthdays/Christmas gifts.
