- Apparently I need to change my birthdate on all my website registrations. That's one of the only things I keep accurate because I could never remember what fake day I'd put. It's also one that needs be vaguely try so the site knows you're old enough to use it.
- I'm taking a moment to say THANK YOU to all of my friends (if you're reading this, I'm definitely talking to you). You're all the best!
- I haven't found much new music lately for running but Chris pointed this song out and I think I'll give it a try.
- It's rare that I find a Cake Wreck good enough to re-post. But seriously. Asbigas, you can make it!. Ha ha.
- Speaking of running, here's a look at when it's ok to drink Gatorade. I actually haven't even used sports drinks this summer. Perhaps I should go get some for my long runs.
- Finally in the food theme, even accounting for calories, meat eaters pack on more pounds? Fascinating. It's a good thing the only meat I buy is bacon.
- For the local readers, a plan to expand programming to prevent violence in North Minneapolis is meeting resistance from people trying to prevent violence in North Minneapolis. I only started reading this article because that group, Cease Fire, does work in Cincinnati and my mom told me about them. But it is true that a lot of good work does already go on in Minneapolis to prevent gangs and violence and it's easy to see how those people would feel unrecognized and hurt by the city wanting to bring in someone from the outside.
- I love it when My favorite drink (Ale 8) shows up on the internet. It's been pronounced different ways. I refer to the drink as "Ale eight", but if you read out the entire label it should be called "A late one", and I swear I had one friend who referred to it as "Ale eighty-one". Nonetheless, YUM!.
- Friday!

LINKFEST Saturday
My leg has a sad so I'm taking a few days off running. I was thinking about getting in the pool tomorrow (I never kick when I swim anyways) but we'll see. In the mean time, I've had lots of fun poking around the internet.
