- Congress finally realized that the AmeriCorps education award needed to raised and that the whole program should be expanded. Thanks to both congress and President Obama for that one because it's a great program. (I should know, I did it twice.) Also really cool that the ed award can go to kids or grand kids. I think it's a great idea.
- One more sure sign of the apocalypse. Is this like when Napster changed?
- At first, when I read this headline I was horrified, and then I thought, "oh, yeah, I could see that". But I don't think the way the article talks about mental illness or chemical addiction is too helpful. It'd also be interesting to know what they plan on doing about it and if other urban areas have similar problems. Minneapolis and St Paul have so many other clinics that this kind of usage seems unlikely out of too many people.
