And now
- Do you know a kid who has ADD? (Besides me!) Well, let them fidget. They're doing it because it helps. I chew gum instead of moving the rest of my body for this very reason.
- For the bloggers out there, 10 html tags I'd like to see used in your next post. I don't know why I saved this bookmark to show you really. I must have thought some of the tags were neat. I always used "strike" instead of "ins" and "del" to cross things out. Maybe that was it.
- And finally, 11 things you should never do to food except for mash potatoes which can come from naturally purple or blue potatoes and are fine. But seriously, pink? Ewww.
I love the acronym tag. I implemented it site-wide on our external site because it's incredibly helpful for accessibility. In some browsers (don't remember which ones), a dotted line shows up under words tagged acronym, but it just takes a little CSS to make all browsers render it that way. So then when you're viewing the site, you know which acronyms have been defined and can hover over them for the full wording. Also, if you're using a screen reader (for the visually impaired), I think it reads the acronym differently if you tag it correctly.
ReplyDeleteMost of those other tags were either pretty obscure or only useful if you do forms (which we do not). The address one I hadn't heard of before, and I've been familiar with the cite tag but never used it.
