A few things I've been reading about. First, for Amanda (who might not be reading because of internet access issues but I'm still thinking about you):
- There really are people who live without a TV some of them aren't even fanatics.
- Since I think of you as the person who reads the most (well, I guess before you were in school), 25 banned books you should check out. I've read eight (counting Harry Potter as 1).
For the "current events" minded:
- A visual breakdown of both Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama's acceptance speeches at the conventions. Nice graphic.
For the easily entertained:
- Nutmeg is a hallucinogen. Cool.
- One of the 10 most confusing traffic signs is right here in St. Paul. It's actually only a few blocks from my office. I know right where it is.
For anyone who has a computer:
Nine reasons I love having a macNine great applications only for the mac. The Christmas lights rock. And that cmd+opt+ctrl+8 trick is really fun.- I could possibly spend my weekend this way although luckily I just talked to Sarah and am inspired to do a really long run tomorrow instead. Thanks!
