In going through my open tabs, I find there are few that remain relevant. I decided not to post the ones on the bailout from last week. That seems moot at this point. Here's what I do have:
- Which of your colleagues is really worth paying? Are you?. I know what happens when I leave my office, and I know what happens when others are out of the office too. All my colleagues are in the "worth keeping" category so far so I think I'm lucky.
- I know the debate already happened and most of you have seen this, but I heart Tina Fey.
- I think most of you know that I only have a cell phone, as do most people my age. Someone finally figured out there might be an important demographic that's missed in traditional political polls. That doesn't mean I want you to start calling and asking my opinion.
- Apparently it still pays to be sexist for men. The article really misses the next step though, which is men who hold traditional values are probably the single wage earner for the family and therefore need to earn more to support the family. While men who have the other view are likely not the only wage earner in their home, as their (slightly more enlightened) view supports.
- More reasons to have strong feelings about High Fructose Corn Syrup. I know I do.
- And finally, I know this is a day late, but it's just as interesting a read after the debate. I did watch last night and I'm glad I did. It didn't change my mind but I think it was a good use of my time.
