Day 1 - Linkfest

Starting day 1 of this whole blogging for a month thing with a little linkfest.  I found like 10 articles yesterday that were really interesting and could only share 1 or 2 with my facebook friends so as to not annoy them.  Here's some of the others:

• Thanks to the University of Cincinnati, my alma matter, for this first one.
• The Next Chipotle looks just as awesome as the first Chipotle.  I think Minneapolis would be an excellent testing ground for this.
• Speaking of fast food, Ethnicity is the best predictor of where people eat fast food.  In my head I called this one "where stereotypes come from".
• For the locals, people have been asking for a while, what could help North Minneapolis and make the situation over there better.  I have forever answered, build a bridge over 394 so people have a way out.  Turns out, someone was listening.
• Ultramarathoners are crazy as it turns out.  But I'm still thinking about giving it a try.  Nice explanation of some of the physiology too.
• Minnesota is the healthiest state for seniors.  Working in health care, I am in no way surprised. I was puzzled by the 'low community support expenditures' for seniors since that's basically my job, and actually a priority in this state.  I'm wondering how it was measured.  Whatever.  We rock.
