- Another way to recycle tires. It's good to hear about a positive business in North Minneapolis. But seriously, there are people who get new tires every year? How much are they driving?
- I thought this floor would be so cool until I remembered I have OCD and probably couldn't handle it if some were heads and some were tails and some of the faces were at a 45* angle. Someone else should do it in their house so I can come visit.
- The country of Georgia is replacing Russian as the second official language. The new second official language is, obviously, English.
- 10 places to avoid on the weekends. Amen.
- Homeschooling: Infograph. I work with a lady whose kids have, at times, been home schooled. Right now one is home-schooled and one isn't. When I was in high school I actually worked with a few kids who were home-schooled. I wish there was more information about why their test scores are so much higher than even private school kids.
- Growing up Muslim in the US after September 11th. Just. Wow.
- Who are the Millenials? Not me it turns out. I'm like the last year that's still considered Generation X. I find that odd. In some ways it's completely inaccurate. But I don't fit with the Millennium generation either. (I'll remind you that before July I'd never sent a text message and leave it at that.)
- I find this commercial hysterical. As a note here, I figured out that when these posts move to my Facebook page as 'notes', Facebook doesn't allow the YouTube embeds for some reason, so I'm back to posting regular links.
- Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones came to a theater near you. I missed it but I have seen The Stones at the Max - Omnimax movie and it was great. The movie was fun but the music on that sound system was what made it outstanding.
There is nothing you cannot be. There is nothing you cannot do. There is nothing you cannot have.
